All Days Should Be Like This
i'm working from home today, as i usually do on friday. only today has been a different sort of work. you see, today is the day that i launch this project i've worked on all month. all the hard stuff has been done. all i need to do is to deploy all the files, check one more time that they all work, and then archive/back everything up. easy, right? well, yeah -- it is. only it's also really time consuming too. and while the files are moving, my computer is tied up and i can't work on anything else.
so this is what i've been doing. here's a shot of my home office:

on the right are the two computers doing all the work, on the left is what i've been doing while i wait for the computers to finish that work. :) i've been teaching myself how to play Mojave3's Return To Sender -- and i figured that if Erik won't let me have his old L-50 then i'd have to make do with whatever i have, which in this case is my Guild S300. the song doesn't sound as good as it would on his Gibson but the way i figure it, i'm still getting to play guitar while i work! too bad i can't do this in the other office too...
happy friday y'all! -- any big weekend plans out there?

Plans include.....Anne getting a filling replaced this afternoon (she stressed about it!), dog sitting for my Aunt Linda, Crab Feed on Saturday, dig up and move a Japanese Maple on Sunday. A very sedate weekend to say the least.
Playing guitar at work is a good thing!

What kind of sammich we got going there, Pete? And do my eyes deceive me, or is that a bag of fritos? My man P knows how to live!

damn but you've got good eyes there Kyle. the picture was taken during my break for lunch, which consisted of a delicious thin-sliced honey ham and swiss cheese sandwich, with honey mustard. and yes, there were Fritos to be had on the side along with a Diet Coke w/Lime. just about the perfect lunch in these here parts!
