A Fresh Start
happy new year! i'm a day late, but, oh well.
and what better way to start the new year then with a new blog template to go with the new blog engine. you will find though that the new version makes leaving a coment a little different. there are now two ways -- you can either use TypeKey or not. i know i said the other day that you had to use it but i've relented -- mostly because i can't get it to work right. but when i do get it working and if you do use TypeKey, your comment will appear immediately. but if you don't have a free TK account, or you don't login before commenting, your comment will be accepted but it will be held for approval before appearing. for the moment, since i can't get it working, i'm gonna moderate them all. please be patient.
hey! what happened to the big daisy at the top of the page?, i hear you saying. well, when i switched over to MT3.14 i found that my old templates were so old that they didn't work quite right with the new version. so instead of trying to debug them i opted instead for downloading the default templates from the MT site and going with one of their generic stylesheets. i'd rather have it working then pretty at this point.
that's about it. it's been a pretty boring past few days. well, except that we bought one of these on friday. and believe me, i'd rather be driving it then trying to make this blog work... :D

WOW! Lots of changes...AND YOU BOUGHT THE CAR WE WANT!!! Well we think so anyway...we just rented one while in Oregon and the only thing we didn't like was the placement of the emergency brake. Is it right by the drivers leg in the LLBean version too? We had a sort of stripped down rental version to drive. Drives niiiiiiiice though. Hugs to you and Erin.
