The Wrap
all in all, this was a very good christmas. a certain someone didn't carve his fingers while carving the bird. been there, done that you know -- but then that's another story:
my step-dad didn't eat the bird prior to it being carved, although, as this picture shows, he tried:
a very popular toy turned out to be my nephews robosapien, which, as you can see, was enjoyed by all -- including the family cat:
actually, taunting the cat with the robot turned out to be endless fun, as that last picture shows. we put a pipe cleaner in the robots hand and had him waive it around in the cats face. i thought at one point that the cat was gonna take the robots arm off. and when the cat got mad and walked off, the robot would follow him... :)
in the loot area we brought home several DVD's, including Greg The Bunny -- the funniest show ever canceled by Fox, a gift card for a new flash unit for the camera, and his and hers pj's -- mine being Average Moe's Simpson's pj's. woo-hoo! very comfy!
good times, good times! too bad though i've got to go to work this morning. next year i've gotta make sure i jump for the vacation calendar before my coworkers do -- as this year i've ended up being the one holding down the fort... anyone else out there with me?
