i tried writing something funny last night, that i could post this morning. but once again, Heather kicked my ass in circuit class and i arrived home exhausted and too tired to even eat dinner. ok, so i did eventually eat dinner, but it took a while before i even felt up for it.
by the time i sat down with the laptop, the news was on in the background and all that came to mind to write about was political and related to this tuesdays election. i don't know about you but i'm tired of it all. i'm tired of hearing about who's in the lead, how this and that breaking news story might swing those elusive undecided voters. and i get the felling that you're tired of hearing about it too. so instead, i didn't write anything at all. i figured that when i got up in the morning i could toss something up here if inspiration decided to visit. but it didn't.
i did however enter a photo into this week's Photo Friday challenge of still life. i took it at last weekends' Wedding du jour and i've entitled it Hot Water. go take a look.
i hardly know what to do with myself this weekend! for the first time since college (and that's a long time) i have no halloween costume or plans for a halloween party! i guess it's because i've gone somewhere the past five weekends and the prospect of being able to sleep in tomorrow and sunday are exhilarating to say the least. ok, so we have friends coming over from out of town tomorrow, so i will have to get up and clean the house. but still -- if i could only sleep in until 8am each day, it'll be heaven... :)
what about you -- any big plans for the weekend?

Went to a party that I found out about at the last minute, had to have a costume but mine was in storage, threw on a robe and stuck a toothbrush in my mouth and went as cousing Ted, ya know, your cousin Ted...from Toledo. I've been living here for like a week, haven't you noticed? Yeah,I know, it didn't get that many laughs there either.
