Tonight's Eclipse

yes, you can tell i'm my mom's son.

i just came back inside from the cold. i stood on the side of the road for a half-hour about a mile from here, using the roof of the car as a tripod to get these two pictures of tonight’s lunar eclipse. ok, so i took actually took 27 pictures, not two, but these two were the best.

i have to say, i love stuff like this. my mom, the amateur astronomer would be so proud of me. :)

it's still going on as i post this. if you're in the SF bay area, go outside and look for yourself! i think i read that this is the last lunar eclipse we're going to have for the next eight years. you don't want to miss this!
