My Wild Life

E's off on a business trip to Houston until tomorrow night, so here i am -- beginning day #2 of my bachelorhoodhedonism!

woo-hoo!! can you just feel the excitement?! boy, i sure can.

so listen up to what i did last night on my first much anticipated night of freedom!

i went to the grocery. i cleaned the cats litter boxes. i made dinner for, then pilled the cats (their own prescriptions, not recreational drugs. damn.) i made myself dinner (a sandwich and some chips.) i watched the Red Sox make an amazing stand. i watched and fell asleep to the 10 o-clock news.

- nobody came over.
- no beers were consumed.
- no strippers swung on poles.

i think the most excitement i had all night was flipping through the latest Victoria's Secret catalog that came in the mail.

and what's in store for today? well, i've got another circuit training class after work, meaning i'll probably end up assed out exhausted in front of the tv again afterwards...

what the hell has happened to my life. i suck!

of course it all might have something to do with still being in recovery mode from Steve & Laurie's party this past weekend. speaking of which, here are a few pictures (click to embiggen):

thanks guys -- that was such a great time! i understand too that we left at the right time, as the crowd moved on to drinking shots of something or other after we left. you know, that's something i've learned over the years. that when the night begins to wane and someone says that having a few shots would be a good idea, it rarely is.

now starting the evening with shots.... that's another story.

Wooooo, sounds like you're livin' it up there!

I get all excited when my wife's out of town. Then I get home and after cleaning the pool, walking the dogs, washing, drying, folding and ironing my clothes, making my own food and washing my dishes, I pass out watching the news. But I do enjoy walking around in my underwear! That rocks!

Your wifeless days sound like mine. I find myself cleaning the house, eating a lot, watching endless cable, sleeping on the sofa and talking to Allie (the cat). 'Tis pathetic.

I do THINK about strippers! Heck.....I'm thinking about them right now.

Save the Victoria's Secret for me. Anne is gonna be gone next month.

If you feel like making the drive come on over for dinner.

I am still not yet myself - &%$@ing Larry and his "let take some shots", woof, I yacked more times than I can remember. It was great to seeing you and your lovely wife however, all four of you.
