Pocket Bikes
i'm starting to see these hi-tech mini-bikes all over the place now. this past weekend, i saw a guy who must have been pushing 300lbs, hunched over on one of these mini disasters-waiting-to-happen. *shudder* the site of that crack will be burned into my brain for years to come...
is it just me or are these things just the dorkyest looking contraptions you've ever seen?

dude I was so about to write about these too, except I was looking for an "angle" - and there is none, you've totally nailed it, it's just the dorkiest of the dorkiest. I saw seven or eight of these outside Cyberhunt (an online gaming parlor on Geary in the 'mond) and these diminutive guys were perching on them like dodos mating with dragonflies. Definitely not a toy for anyone with self-image issues - you can't *not* look stupid on one. Even if you're in darth leather like your lovely model.

I recently saw this guy that must be about 6 and a half feet tall riding one. It looked so ridiculous that I yelled at him "you can't be comfortable - what were you thinking?"
