Zen And The Art Of Head Shaving
i seem to be full of observations lately. here's another. it occured to me last night that there's something very soothing about the process of shaving ones own head. well, at least i think so. call me weird (it's ok, believe me, i've been called worse) but i find the whole ritual strangly relaxing. the hot water, the lather, the smooth even strokes. i'm surprised really that it's taken me so many years to have discovered this. but then it took until most of my hair fell out on it's own for me to get up the nerve to try it.
and something else has happened since i've started shaving my head that i didn't expect. i've found myself having the same conversation over and over with guys about razors. do you use a triple-blade or one of those new fancy quad-blades? you'd have to be crazy to use a single blade -- have you tried the ones that flex in the middle? seriously. i've had way more than what i'd consider my normal share of these conversations this past month.
what i haven't figured out though is how to get that part of my head tanned to the same shade like the rest it. even a week in the Caribbean didn't make a dent...

How about the new one that has a electric charge that makes the hair stand up? heh
I like the Gillete Mach 3, blades are expensive, but I get a close shave. I don't have my head tho, just face :-)
Have a good one!

There's a whole little shaved-head club, with secret handshakes and whatnot. I'll have Remy teach you the handshake.

Does it burn? You treat it with sunblock any?
