Cookie Conspiracy
it's a conspiracy i tell you. they were out front of the train station yesterday afternoon. they were camped out by the exit of the grocery store this weekend. they even had a table set up outside the local hardware store.
i'm talking about girl scout cookies and the kids who sell them.
somehow they know my weaknesses. that i can't resist their cute smiles, allowing them to pawn off on me the Thin Mints. or the Samoas. damn, the Samoas. i ashamedly admit i made a dinner last friday night out of half a box of those delectable coconut rings and several glasses of single malt scotch. yes, it was after the grocery store pizza episode. no, Erin didn't partake. and yes, my diet really is that atrocious.
i guess those two have to be my favorites -- Thin Mints and the Samoas. which ones are irresistible to you?

It's the thin mints that call to me this time of year. That's one reason I postponed starting my diet last month... couldn't resist the thin mints. heh!

It's the Somoas and the Trefoils for me...those little shortbreads things are great with hot tea.

Thin mints! But you have to put them in the freezer first. Frozen thin mint cookies and milk. Who need healthy food?

Is that why you keep suggesting I dress up in a girl scout uniform? To sell you cookies? ;-)
My faves are the Do-Si-Do's (peanut butter sandwich cookies.) I'm sure they're low fat....

Frozen Thin Mints...YUMMY!!!
The new kind this year, Pinatas, aren't too bad either.
I also like the fudge covered shortbread cookies...Animal Treasures I think they're called.

Anne and I bought 17 boxes. The Double Dutch Chocolate Chips are wonderful! Chocolate Thin Mints are runner up and the Lemon Cookies come third in my book. I've eaten two boxes in three days while sitting at my desk. My body is probably reacting in ways I don't want to know about.

Oooh, I think those are mine as well, except reverse. "You can freeze them too!"

Same, samoas and thin mints, but i think thin mints are going to get bumped by the new pinatas, those things are freakin amazing! How can cute little girls be such dangerous creatures?

Stupid thin mints! A box will only last me two days. For some reason that is one of the only foods the just sucks every last bit of willpower out of my body and uses it as a lubricant on the way down.

Samoas. I finished off 2 boxes in less than 48 hours. My theory is that they are loaded up with crack, or possibly heroin.
