i guess this story is already a week old but i only saw it just now. yeah, i'm kinda slow that way sometimes. but at least i like to think i have a little more sense than this guy.
this here is Timothy Dumouchel from West Bend, Wis. Mr Dumouchel is shown here holding what he claims to be the bain of his existance for these past four years -- his TV remote. seems he's claiming that his cable company is responsible for making his family addicted to TV, causing his wife to gain 50 pounds and forcing him to smoke and drink every day. and now, since it's the American way, he's threatening to sue his cable company.
at first i thought this was a joke -- no-one can be this moronic, but a quick google found several other newspapers that are carrying the same story. i don't know about you but i don't need an excuse to smoke and drink more. well, to smoke maybe.
can someone say Mr Dumouchel could use a hefty dose of personal responsiblity?
on a completely different note, i'm watching For Your Eyes Only right now on AMC. when i was a kid i thought this was so great -- all the skiing scenes, the bobsleds, the motorcycles with the spikee tires. but oh man, that soundtrack! how did i miss it before? it sounds like a 70's porn movie! not that i would know anything about that. maybe it would be best to stop right there.

FYEO is definately my favorite Bond movie. Is it me or does Mr Dumouchel look identical to Brian Sabean?

If that moron wins, I'm suiing the Internet. Starting with Internet Inventor Al Gore, and including Bill Gates. When the jury sees my Surferbelly, they're gonna feel so sorry for me! Ka-ching!
