it's now day #3 of pete & erin's home remodeling hibernation.
considering the crew has only been working for two days, they've made good progress. and we haven't gone stir crazy yet, living with all our furniture crammed into the bedroom. no blood has spilled... yet. and a great thing about this contractor we found, he cleans up the place after each days work. he and the crew were already done for the day when i got home from work tonight. everything had been vacumed -- and other then the giant scafolding in the front room, and the now scraped clean ceilings, you wouldn't have known he had been there!
so here's a picture of what the front room looked like when i got home tonight. not bad! and tomorrow the recessed lighting gets installed.

when you say "scraped" did they scrape it cause you had a popcorn finished ceiling? or did they do some drywall work?
I'm an expert in drywall..you could have hired me for only 2 cases of beer!!
