went horseback riding this morning. the skies were threatening when we left. you can't see it too well in these pictures, but it started pouring on us about 20 minutes out and continued for the rest of the 2-hour ride. wet horse, wet pete - not a pretty sight. or smell. it was still a great time though as there was no-one else out there.
anyway, here's two pics from today. the first is erin and me on our horses, stormy (appropriate, i know) and merlin. the second picture is a group shot of the six of us. don't we look happy and perky considering it's raining on us?!

i didn't even know you were away ... how wonderful to keep posting ...
i hope to take a decent trip sometime in the future and be able to document it really well like this ... i kept a journal 10 years ago of a trip to mexico I am going to update later in october druing the actual anniversary ...

dang...I haven't been horseback riding for a very long time. Seeing these pictures makes me think I need to go soon.
