i woke up this morning, or should i say tried to wake up this morning, realizing it just wasn't happening today. after all the excitement from this weekend i just needed a day off to sleep. and it didn't help that erin has extra vacation days and has taken this week off. so i turned off the alarm, called in to work and rolled back over for a few more hours of shuteye.
we headed to 4th street in berkeley, once we finally got ourselves out of bed. not a place i normaly would have chosen for my day off, but seeing as erin already had her day planned and i was suddenly butting in on it, i didn't complain. and besides, i got to go through Ikea on the way there. funny thing about Ikea - i can go in there looking for one thing and come out with $100 worth of stuff that i didn't know i needed. it happened again, but i digress.
so while at 4th street (which is several blocks of stores, outlets and restaurants) i found this window and took a picture of it. i added it to the gallery a few minutes ago.
i feel so out of touch - did i miss anything in the blogging world today?
