it's not been your typical monday around here. i got to work this morning to find the company's internet connection was down. that's probably not a big deal for most of the people in my office, but it screwed me over (and not just because i couldn't read blogs... sheesh - i can't believe you were thinking that! :)) it finally came back up after lunch, meaning i had to try and get a days worth of work done in three hours...
and we had more excitement this morning too. at around 9:30a, the office building two blocks over caught on fire. big plumes of black, then white smoke filled the air and slowly started drifting twords my building. i'm on the 21st floor and had a good view, well, of the smoke at least. the a/c was turned off to my building, the air vents were closed, but it didn't make much difference. within minutes the office was warm, stuffy and filled with smoke. and they wouldn't send us home either! ugh...
so i'm only now catching up on my blog reading. how's everyone doing today? i miss anything?

Jeez, huh? I hope your Tuesday is going a lot better than your Monday went!!!!!!!!! As you know, you missed nothing in my life. Shocking, eh? ;)

Our system was down yesterday too (Coincidence? I think not) and I tried to be really nonchalant about it but deep down I was all pissed off. By the time it was back up I was all into my actual work and had to keep slogging through it. No fun at all.
