am i the only dummy who went to work this morning? neither the parking lot or the train were even half-full, and the latter is usually standing room only. even erin has the day off. the only words of encouragement she mutters as i was getting ready this morning were, "why don't you call in sick to work and come back to bed". even wink the cat was sitting on the bed, looking at me like whatthehellareyoudoing? get your ass back to bed!
but i left and here i am. at work.
what about you? who else went to work today? please don't let me be the only one...

Yep. Me too. But on Tuesday and Wednesday, when all those sleeping-in-today bastards are back at work, I won't be, so that kinda makes it worth it.

I have to work today...until midnight. And all day tomorrow and Sunday as well...
I hate working at Starbucks in a touristy area in Seattle on a holiday weekend...

Sorry Pete. But if it makes you feel any better, the weather was cruddy today. So I didn't enjoy late-mid-morning or early-mid-aternoon naps nearly as much as usual.

If it is any consolation, I am working all weekend ~including Monday~. But I work in a restaurant, one that just opened and desperately needs business so it can then support my shopping habit.
