well, the short version is, it has moved over to TypePad. you can find it at petebeck.typepad.com

but why did you move it?
believe it or not, i got the final warning from my ISP, Interland. seems that over the last two months the volume of comment spam i was receiving was enough to bring their SQL server to its' knees -- not once, but five times. and we're not talking some fly-by-night server either. this server belongs to the third largest ISP in the U.S., and my comment spam brought them down five times in two months. thank you, i'm rather proud of that. in a perverse sort of way.

anyway, they told me i had to stop the server overloads from happening and they suggested i do so by upgrading to one of their dedicated server plans, which happens to run around $500 per month. i got the hint and pulled the plug.
